Memorial Day Open House – 5/25
The Chapel is open to the public on Memorial Day, May 25, from 11am to 1pm. Volunteers will be available for short tours and to answer any questions about the building.
Father’s Day Mass – 6/21
A special Father’s Day Mass will be hosted in the chapel on June 21, at 9:30am. The event is free, but due to limited space, advance reservations are required. View more information here.
UWM Osher Lecture – 7/14 & 7/16
A lecture on the history of Calvary Cemetery and the Chapel will be presented as part of University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee’s School of Continuing Education Program. This two-day program includes a classroom lecture on Tuesday, July 14, followed by an on-site session at Calvary Cemetery on Thursday, July 16. Registration through UWM is required through their website.
Doors Open Milwaukee – 9/26 & 9/27
Each year, the Calvary Cemetery Chapel is a popular destination for Doors Open Milwaukee. The Chapel will be open to the public on September 26, and 27, 2026. Visitors are invited to explore this historic building, located within Milwaukee’s oldest Catholic cemetery, with volunteer-guided tours available.
Spirited Walking Tour – 10/10
Join us on October 10, 2026, for an afternoon of history, stories, and reflection at Milwaukee’s historic Calvary Cemetery. During this guided walking tour, we will visit notable gravesites and share the stories of both the famous and lesser-known individuals whose lives helped shape the city of Milwaukee. Tickets go on sale in September.
November Information Night
